Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A flamboyant and pleasant wine from Spain, the Manga Del Brujo 2017 delivers fresh aromas of roasted plum, prune, pink grapefruit, black tea, leather and pie crust. Blended from 70% Garnacha, 10% Tempranillo, Syrah 15% and 5% Mazuelo, the wine is rich and full-bodied, with a seductive balance and a round finish. Palate: cherry, dried strawberry, black pepper, crushed almond, vanilla and oak. Enjoy!
From Bodega San Gregorio in the Calatayud wine region, El Escocés Volante Manga Del Brujo 2017 is a fresh and juicy red blend of mostly old-vines Grenache with Syrah, Tempranillo and Mazuelo wine grapes. Lovely on the nose with ripe dark fruit, cracked pepper, smoke and toasty oak spice. Full-bodied with fleshy black fruit, cherry smoky and toasty oak spice flavours. Pair with venison stew or bison burgers. Excellent value under $18. - Community Wine Reviews
