This southern French red wine from the Rhone is brought to us by Plan De Dieu Aubert Frères. Tasty, full-bodied and delicious! Superb value: staggeringly great for the price. Aromas of cedar, black fruit, smoke and juicy black cherry. This wine is a blend of 70% Grenache, 10% Mourvèdre and 20% Syrah grapes. This, my friends, is your party wine. It'll dance with anything on the grill.

Food pairings: gourmet hamburgers, grilled pork chops, barbecued steak.

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre - dark candied fruit, floral, pepper, licorice on the palate - Great value!
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Prominent aromas of ripe red berries, fresh floral notes (violets), old leather and cigar box. The palate is dominated by a tart mouthfeel and a moderate red cherry finish. A food friendly wine but not exciting. Tasted Feb 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
