Field fresh raspberries greet you on the nose followed by some watermelon and red grapefruit. This is truly liquid refreshment, with a lovely sunset thrown into the glass as extra. This is a wide-ranging and all-embracing rose that will please many people, but especially you.

Reviews and Ratings

Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Dark ruby red in colour with faint aromas of raspberry. The acidity dances on your tongue with light flavours of cranberry and raspberry and a smooth finish.

This is a very well balanced crowd pleasing rosé that could be great for your next brunch or would be a great easy drinking wine that you could sip this one on a back deck on a hot summer day.

Tasted July 15, 2018
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Floral, strawberry and raspberry notes with nice crisp acidity throughout. Pair with shellfish. Tasted July 2018.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This wine has beautiful, vibrant colour and flavour as well. Aromas of ripe strawberry, watermelon, and a hint of lime. Lots of fruit on the palate, with medium+ acidity, and a lengthy finish showing some citrus hints. Pair with tuna crudo or any other seafood.
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted July 17th, 2018. Colour deep pink. Legs medium. Aromas and flavours of, orange peel, tangerine, pink grapefruit. Taste, dry, light mouthfeel, fruity, mouthwatering, fresh. Finish medium. A classic rose wine. Big fan. Try it with, charcuterie, or boiled crab, or a salad Nicoise. Tavel the French home of the iconic Rose. Nice wine from the Domaine. If you can find it try the Chateau Tavel.
Domaine Des Carteresses 2017 Tavel is fresh-picked raspberries on the nose with red berry flavours and pink grapefruit acidity. This rosé is bursting with summer ripe field berries. Tavel is renowned for rosé wine with mostly Grenache grapes in the wine blend with some Mourvèdre, Clairette, Picpoul and Syrah. Chill and enjoy. - Community Wine Reviews
