Concha Y Toro wanted to create a new line of wines for consumers who knew a bit about wines and who were looking for something different. In 2007, winemakers came up with the Series Riberas. So named for a favourite site by one of Chile's major rivers - or “Riberas” (meaning riverbanks). Series Riberas Gran Reserva (2013) is ripe, sweet blackberry on the nose, chocolate and mint. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, smooth with more ripe, dark berries, sweet spice and chocolate. Tannins are soft and rounded and the wine has a good balance of refreshing acidity to rich fruit. Would go well with beef brisket as it would with dark chocolate cake. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
