Mouth-watering aromas and flavours of tart cherries with a touch of smoky oak and mocha. Terrific food wine, especially for meat dishes. This wine is a blend of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes. There is some anise and pepper on the finish. Medium-bodied and satisfying.

Valpolicella food pairings: meatloaf, lentil patties, Italian style pizza, salami, veal shanks, charcuterie, soft cheeses.

This is a very attractive Valpolicella with impressive intensity. Complex aromas of sour cherry, raspberry, red roses and cured meat. The palate is fresh, bright and lively, with heaps of tangy red fruit delectably accentuated by light floral and meat notes. A rush of food-friendly acidity. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, March 2013
