Bonterra 2021 Rosé is crafted from organically grown Grenache and Syrah wine grapes sourced from the Mendocino County wine region. These grapes are specifically intended for rosé and are harvested when sugar levels are low and natural acidity is high for a fresh and vibrant wine. The grapes are “direct press” into tanks, pressing the grapes immediately to ensure that not a lot of tannin is extracted. Maceration of the grape skins with the grape juice is short making for a fresh, fruity and vibrant wine. Look for ripe strawberry, rose petals, tropical fruit notes and zesty citrus flavours on this well-balanced and harmonious rosé. Chill and enjoy with your favourite salad or tofu burger.

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A summer sipper? Yes please! Let me introduce the Bonterra Rosé 2021 from California. Pleasant aromas of dragon fruit, raspberry, orange peel, rose petal and rhubarb. Light and crisp, this rosé will be best served chilled on a patio this summer. Palate: raspberry, cherry, pink grapefruit, citrus blossom and tea. Enjoy.
