Ben Glaetzer Bishop Shiraz 2012 Wine Review
Natalie's Score: 90/100Smoke and black fruit on the nose with more charcoal, heart-warming warmth on the palate. Full-bodied, supple and smooth. Very tasty.
Shiraz food pairings: grilled game, bison burgers. Best Beef Wine

|Martha Kelly AIWS, CS rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:|
Deep purple in colour, this full-bodied wine has ripe tannic structure and refreshes with complex notes of cassis, black berry, chocolate, cedar, vanilla, hazelnut, savoury layers of aged beef, wet leaves, cigar box, and toast. The flavours linger on the warming, elegant finish.
Enjoy now or cellar until 2018.
Pair with braised red meats or savour on its own.
Date tasted: February 2014.
|Evocative notes of campfire smoke, grilled meat, blackberry and dark chocolate. The palate is supple and smooth with a proliferation of berry fruit and smoke notes. A warm, black pepper-dusted finish. A big wine for big meals from a noted producer, and an impressive early example of the great 2012 vintage. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, Oct. 2013|
