Juicy dark fruit with some coffee, though I don't find that aroma overwhelming. Full-bodied and supple.

Pinotage food pairings: smoked meats, barbecued meats.

Reviews and Ratings

Michel Henry rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lovely on its own. Dark cherry finish.
Julian rated this wine as 80/100 with the following review:

Not bad
This coffee-styled Pinotage comes from none other than the originator of the style, Bertus Fourie. Deeply coloured, and laden with rich dark-roasted coffee, mocha and blackberry aromas and flavours, with vanilla throughout. The coffee character is achieved through additional toasting of the barrels, resulting in attractive and unique intensified flavours. Enjoyable on its own.
