Lots of wet stone and petrol on the nose that gives way to brilliant lemon sunshine zest on the palate. Medium-bodied and vibrant with juicy mouth-watering acidity for seafood.

Riesling food pairings: smoked salmon on baguette, mild curries, seafood salad.

Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

13th Street Winery's popular June's Vineyard Riesling is made from old Clone 49 Riesling sourced straight from Alsace, France, which contributes to its expressive varietal characteristics but with the added benefits from the limestone influence of the Creek Shores appellation vineyard. June's Vineyard Riesling shows crisp stonefruit, lime, bees wax and expressive petrol notes with refreshing limestone minerality making this beautiful Ontario Riesling a fantastic choice for just about anything you can imagine. Enjoy as an aperitif, or pair with grilled seafood, oysters on the half shell, or grilled Thai burgers with pineapple salsa - a personal favourite. Tasted May 2017. 91 points. Lise Charest Gagne rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Refreshing musty minerals in a good way, refined petrol, citrus and green apple with a hit of flowers. Flavours of soft green apple and lemons with bit of spice on the finish. It's got a soft mouthfeel and it's not over sweet. Lovely and easy to drink. Enjoyed on my porch swing with friends as a aperitif in August 2017.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Only 380 cases produced. Peach & petrol on nose, with strong minerality, petrol, ripe peach, slight floral and citrus on palate.
Tasted Feb. 2017
From the Niagara Peninsula wine region, 13Th Street's June's Vineyard 2014 Riesling is made from vines planted to Clone 49 in June's Vineyard. The wine has 10 g/l of sugar and on the palate the Riesling is citrus-grapefruit fresh with almond and ginger. This is a stunner. - Community Wine Reviews
