1998 Krug Clos du Mesnil

The first wine I really noticed was Cave Springs Riesling on a wine tour when I was 20 years old. It was the first wine I really liked and I contribute it to my appreciation of Riesling.

Pairing Slovenian Cabernet Sauvignon with Venison Roast. Fabulous, and a pairing g I doubt I'll ever be able to have again!

Bubbly: Champagne, Cremant, Prosecco. Reds: Bordeaux, Rioja, anything from the Okanagan! Whites: Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc.
