This wine is a deep ruby with garnet hue colour in the glass. A dark brooding collage of black and red fruit, leather, sweet baking spices, tobacco leaf, chocolate and toast. There's good acid to fruit ratio and decent liquid velvet finish. Overall, an excellent value red wine meant to be enjoyed today. This could be your perfect Easter roasted lamb shank pairing.

A power packed value buy. Lot's of complexity to the aromas, with exotic spices and oaky elements lingering. Not totally smooth but that's what makes this a perfect wine for your BBQ steak.

Multiple layers of aromas going on in this Spanish red. Juicy red and black berries, vanilla, oak and tobacco. Medum-bodied with velvety tannins and a juicy berry finish. Pair with grilled meats and aged cheddar. Tasted April 3, 2016.

Made of Tempranillo, this mention Crianza mean this wine has been aged 2 years.
(6 months in barrel and 1 1/2 in bottle for the red wine)
Deep purple color with notes of vanilla, cherry, plum and aok.

On the palate, the tannins are firm, the body is full and the finish is very long.

Excellent choice to match a rack of lamb

Serve it at 15-17 degrees.

Can be aged 6-8 years.

Presentation: Fun, colourful, distinctive and easy to read
Appearance: Medium-dark ruby red
Nose: Caramel, vanilla, spices from Mexican food (I know this sounds like a strange combination, but it smells really good)
Taste: Tannic, leather, caramel, slate/earth, white pepper,
Finish: A tannic finish of sour berries, leather, and earth that falls flat a little quickly
Overall impression: A bold, Old World wine that needs strong tasting food and a good decant.
