Reviews and Ratings
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review: Like big, bold, juicy red? You can pause here! This wine pours with a deep dark ruby red hue. Its key features include notes of black fruit (plums and cassis), anise, nutmeg, cigar box, and hints of caramelized sugars. This wine is full-bodied, showing high tannins, yummy (high) acidity, and a long minty finish. One bonus point score goes the name and bottle presentation. Loving it! Pair this black beauty with BBQ ribs. Tasted August 2016. @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca

Deep ruby colour with aromas and flavours of cherry, blackberry, cola, warm baking spices, graphite and chocolate. Medium acidity with some drying tannins. This is a big wine. Decant at least one hour prior to serving. Grilled red meats. Tasted: August 2016
