Natalie's Score: 91/100 A bright, expressive rosé that shines with aromas of wild strawberry, red currant, and watermelon, accented by a subtle hint of citrus zest. It’s light-bodied, dry, and refreshingly crisp, carrying 12.5% alcohol with a clean, lively finish that makes it a perfect summer refresher. Serve it well-chilled to let its fruit and minerality sparkle. Fascinating fact: Winemaker Mary McDermott created the Interlude Series in response to the extreme winter damage of 2023, sourcing select fruit from trusted vineyards beyond the Okanagan to craft limited, small-lot wines that carry the winery’s hallmark elegance. This rosé is best enjoyed within 1–2 years to capture its vibrant freshness.
Rosé food pairings: a plate of grilled salmon and roasted vegetables, where the wine’s acidity and red fruit lift the richness of the dish. Or enjoy it with a fresh caprese salad, its juicy tomato and basil notes echoing the wine’s bright, summery character.

Reviews and Ratings
Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review: What a fun rosé from Township 7 Vineyards and Winery. Township 7’s Interlude series are ‘Crafted in B.C.’ wines produced from grapes sourced from outside of B.C., due to the deep freeze their vines in the Naramata Vineyards suffered in December 2024 and January 2025. The grapes for this boisterous and juicy rosé were sourced from California’s renowned Russian River Valley, California. Deep ruby pink in the glass, this rosé is fragrant with candied cherry, dried cranberry, strawberry fruit leather and loamy, earthy aromas. Dry to off-dry, medium-bodied and zesty with bright red berry and Jolly Rancher cherry-berry gummy flavours, the wine is balanced with bright acidity and light tannins to pour with grilled chicken breasts and veggie kebabs. The winery suggests trying it with “grilled salmon steaks or a charcuterie board with a triple cream Brie.” I can see that (but my doctor can’t ;). Tasted June 2025.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review: A lovely collaboration, this wine made from Pinot Noir grapes from the Russian River Valley, sourced in order to produce wines made after a devastating winter in the Oakanagan Valley. A lovely raspberry pink in the glass, this wine has aromas of cherry candy, bright strawberries, and een a touch of cranberry. Medium bodied on the palate, and dry with just a touch of sweetness, and rich red berry flavours. This is a rose with some structure, and I think you could pair this with anything grilled, either pork, chicken, salmon, or grilled veggies.
