The 2019 Private Reserve Rose with a lovely nose of tiny field strawberries and summer sunshine. It’s also medium-bodied and mouth-watering. Pair it with barbecued shrimp skewers, pork tenderloin with a rhubarb rosé wine reduction or a Margherita pizza.

Rosé food pairings: feta bruschetta, barbecued shrimp skewers, pork tenderloin.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Refreshing and flavourful. Aromas of strawberry, watermelon and cherry. Medium bodied with medium acidity, and lots of ripe berry notes on the palate, and a hint of citrus on the finish. Enjoy with pork or grilled salmon.
Harvested from the vineyards of long-standing growers for Peller Estates. This Rosé is a blend of 87% Pinot Noir, 10% Gamay Noir and 3% Pinot Meunier grapes which were allowed several hours of skin contact for a perfect pink colour, then whole bunch pressed, cool fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks. Bottled early for full fruit expression.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
