Flat Rock Pink Twisted Rosé from the Niagara Peninsula is a delightfully unexpected blend of Gamay, Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Merlot that combines the best qualities of each variety into a wine of real charm, versatility and personality, crafted by one of Ontario's most beloved and consistently excellent producers. Pale salmon pink in the glass, it opens with an inviting nose of white peach, dried hibiscus and a waft of orange blossom, flowing into flavours of candied watermelon, tangerine zest and a whisper of rose hip on the palate, all carried by a snappy, mouthwatering acidity that gives this wine its irresistible, refreshing energy. It is just off-dry with a light, elegant body, best served well chilled, and will drink beautifully through 2028. Flat Rock Cellars, perched dramatically on the Niagara Escarpment in Twenty Valley, has built a devoted following for its Twisted series of wines, which have become a benchmark for approachable, food-friendly Ontario whites and rosés that consistently overdeliver for their price. Serve it alongside a poached salmon fillet with lemon butter and fresh dill, where the wine's bright acidity and delicate fruit will complement the dish's gentle richness beautifully, or pour it over a spring green salad topped with steamed freshwater shrimp and a light citrus vinaigrette, letting its tangerine zest and refreshing lift echo every bright, fresh flavour on the plate.

Rosé food pairings: poached salmon fillet, vegetarian dishes, Spring green salads topped with steamed freshwater shrimp.

Reviews and Ratings

Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Pink Twisted is an appropriate name - the colour in the glass has this gorgeous pink hue! Fresh strawberry aromas. Crisp and acidic with strawberry and fresh cherry flowing through on the palate! Delightful Rosé for the summer patio! Tasted June 8/2026
