Lots of dark chocolate and sweet mocha on the nose of this generous, full-bodied, smooth Californian red wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Pair with a pepper steak.

Reviews and Ratings

Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Dark in colour with a bouquet of cedar, spice and blackberry.

Very smooth, with tannins coming in on the finish. Flavours of smoke, cherry and spice.

If you like a full bodied red, this one is for you. You might want to pair with food to balance the tannins. For example a steak, spinach salad with walnuts, parmesan or other aged cheeses.

Tasted May 8, 2018
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is exactly what you think it's going to be and that's okay quite frankly. Lavish flavours of vanilla and dark fruit. Pair with beef for a bachelor/bachelorette party. 89 Points.
Colin McKone - Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Dark ruby in colour with aromas of black cherry, plum, cedar, blackberry and spice. Full bodied, with grippy tannins and lots of acidity. It has flavours of black fruit and spice. This will go well with any beef dish. Tasted on May 6, 2018.
