Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Beautiful summer wine. Aromas of fresh strawberry and cherry, along with hints of melon and orange. Medium bodied, with mouthwatering acidity, fresh and slightly tart berry notes, as well as a lovely hint of lime citrus on the palate. Lovely with great balance, enjoy with grilled pork.
Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Made from a blend of 50% Riesling, 17.5% Merlot, 17.5% Pinot Noir, 10% Chardonnay, and 5% Muscat. Expect notes of candied dried apricots, blood orange gelato, sour cherry, and mineral notes. Nice and tart on the palate. Lovely! Great bang for your buck.

Wine-Food Pairing: I had this bottle with roasted salmon and it was great. It would work well with tempura fried seafood, shrimp, fresh seafood salad or summer salad.

Tasted June 2021.
From the Niagara Peninsula wine region, Marynissen Estates rosé is a blend of Riesling with Merlot, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and a bit of Muscat. The Merlot and Pinot were left on their skins up to 48 hours before being bled off (saignee method). Look for bright cherry, ripe raspberry, stone fruit and creamy flavours on the palate. Good food-friendly acidity on this zesty rosé. Pair with a grilled tenderloin. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
