A lovely, floral Niagara white wine blend of Riesling and Savignon Blanc grapes. Aromas of fresh pear and pear. Made by a much respected producer operating in a gravity-flow winery and farming sustainably. Pair with seafood.

Food pairings: poultry, white fish, oysters and other seafood, foie gras, spicy Asian dishes.

Reviews and Ratings

Colin McKone - Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Pale straw in colour with aromas of pear, green apple, honey suckle and minerality. It is light bodied with mouthwatering acidity and has flavours of pear, red apple and minerality. This will pair well with soft cheeses, seafood and green salads. Tasted on July 15, 2018.
Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Interesting combination of two grapes from different ends of the spectrum. Minerality, wet stone with hints of red apple on the nose. Medium-bodied, good acidity with flavours of lemon, green apple and white grapefruit.

There is enough residual sugar in this to pair with hot Asian takeout or could pair well with sushi! Could also pair well with politicians, Catholics or an extra-marital affair.

Tasted July 16, 2018
Luc Delorme rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

The nose is herbacious, and reminescent of a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, but the palate is more in line with the Riesling component, with some minerality and citrus.

Good value for a unique wine that will please most. Would pair well with seafood and salads.
