Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Pale ruby colour, with aromas of light cherries, purple blossoms and ripe raspberries with a note of stoney earthy minerals. Flavours are composed of strawberries and tart red fruits. Hints of herbs and touches of well integrated and balanced minerals. High acidity and medium bodied with delicate tannins. A nice pair for soft cheeses and herbed rainbow trout. 88 points - tasted March 11th, 2018
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Big racy acidity, mouthwatering. Juicy cherry, savoury herb, old world charm. Balanced. Integrated fine medium tannins. Pairs well with roast chicken. Tasted 2015 vintage in March 2018. 88 points
Sharon Aubie rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Herbal nose with lavender, spice and a hint of orange zest. Flavours of anise, pomegranite and dark fruit. Sharp tannins. Perhaps a good wine for a sangria.

Tasted March 13, 2018

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
