Reviews and Ratings

Trent Mayers rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Cabernet Sauvignon is just about the perfect red for BBQ meats. It has enough structure to stand up to food off the grill and still enough refreshing acidity that makes every sip pleasant. This wine is smooth and full bodied delivering an abundance of ripe blackberry, cassis, mint, and black cherry fruit wrapped in tobacco, smoke, spice, caramel, coconut, and vanilla. The added benefit is this Sonoma County red is both excellent quality and good value in the increasingly expensive world of California Cabs.

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A rich and velvety Cal Cab from Sonoma county. Opaque bright purple with aromatic notes of ripe cassis, vanilla, dark chocolate, mint and sweet spice. Excellent structure, satiny mouthfeel and delicious lingering finish. Pair with bison tenderloin and winter vegetables. Great value at this price point.

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Great price for this bright Sonoma Cabernet. Aromas of currant, blackberry and black cherry, with hints of mocha and oaky spice. Full bodied, with smooth, soft tannins. Fruit notes are ripe and rich, with a touch of vanilla and caramel on the finish. Enjoy with roast beef dinner or a rustic mushroom risotto.
finevines90 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Bold Cali red. The nose shows bold wild berry and sweet oak. On the palate it’s firm tannins are complimented with ripe red berry, a long herbal finish. Good acidity. Opens nicely with ~1hr aeration.
