Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Love the NZ style of Pinot Noir! One of my all time favourites with just the right mouth-watering balance of tart cherry, earth, milk chocolate, mocha and slight spices. Silky texture, food-friendly acidity and lingering mocha finish make this my go-to Pinot Noir. Just when you thought a Pinot Noir couldn't get any more intriguing, it finishes with tart fruit, pepper and chocolate. It was delicious with savoury appetizers, chicken in spicy sauce and rich chocolate cake.
Currently on sale at LCBO, so pick up more than one. I did!

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Kim Crawford Pinot Noir is a crowd pleaser every time and at a promo price of $18 it's a real price performer. Sour cherry, violets, earthiness and stony minerality with the perfect amount of mouth-watering acidity make this light-bodied red so approachable. The palate is treated to a smooth lingering chocolate cherry finish. Enjoyed this with roasted chicken in a tomato-butter sauce.

Melanie Aubert rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is one of my go-to pinots. It is medium-bodied and elegant, with tart cherry, raspberry and earthy notes. Someone once told me that pinot is to wine what black jeans are to fashio - they just go with everything. The wine's mouth-tingling acidity keeps you salivating for more and pairs perfectly with a large variety of foods from across the globe. Buy a couple of bottles before the sale ends in October!

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This Pinot is a crowd pleaser and value priced. Offering tart dark cherry, minerality, a hint of spice with exceptional mouth watering acidity. A perfect companion for the sous vide chicken I enjoyed it with. This wine is versatile and offers itself up to pairing with lamb, braised meats, roast turkey or on its own. @jonsteeves rated 90/100 - tasted Sept 2016
