Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Smooth seduction for your taste buds. Dark fruit and spicy pepper nose, with dark fruit, dried berries, raisins, spice and tea on a full-bodied, dry, balanced palate. Terrific structure with smooth tannins and silky finish. A fireplace wine for an autumn evening.
Tasted Oct. 2016
Neil Phillips rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Complex aromas of earth, blackberries, plum, black pepper, mushrooms, cured meat.

On the palate, cracked black pepper, plum & blackberry jam, leafy herbs. Fruit, pepper and slight savoury finish. Perhaps not as nuanced as the nose would suggest.

Tasted October 2016.
Simon Chen rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Blackberry, smoky, peppery, and tea-like aromas on the nose. The initial palate is pleasant with nice fresh and juicy fruit and good acidity. However, the acidity continues in the mid palate and leaves this unpleasant sourness in the mouse without anything to balance it out.
