A lovely southern French rose produced by the much respected winemaker Gerard Bertrand in collaboration with Rockstar Jon Bon Jovi, his son Jesse. This is the second vintage, and it's a lovely blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Mourvèdre grapes. The wine is matured in oak barrels. Aromas of field berries, strawberries and pink grapefruit. Pair with roast chicken.

Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A very lovely rose made in the classic style of Southern France. Expect aromas of watermelon, white cherry, and white peach. Fruity and juicy on the nose before it is extra dry, crisp, and texture on the palate with minerality. That minerality persists into the finish. A highly elegant wine, very approachable and easy-drinking. An impressive collaboration between Jesse Bongiovi (where do I know that name from?), Gerard Bertrand, and Jon Bon Jovi (that is where!). Serve with shellfish or turkey.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This rosé is designed for summer living from the fresh, juicy style to the Southern France diver on the label. There are delicate strawberry notes on the nose with just a savoury hint. Restrained strawberries on the palate. Nice balance. Medium finish. Try it with cucumber sandwiches. Tasted June 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A nice choice for a sunny summer afternoon! This wine is produced by Gerard Bertrand in partnership with Jon Bon Jovi. Blended from Grenache, Cinsault, and Mouvedre, it is pale and pretty in the glass, with aromas of strawberry, lime zest, and a hint of watermelon. Bright acidity, and a nice citrus note on the finish. A little pricy, but a nice treat. Enjoy with some afternoon appetizers on the patio, or grilled salmon.
Hampton Water 2018 rosé is a smooth and silky Grenache, Cinsault and Mourvèdre rosé wine blend from grapes sourced from the Languedoc wine region. Juicy with great acidity, ripe stone-fruit, garrigue herbs wrapped up in soft citrus zest. Nicely done. - Community Wine Reviews
