Love this Niagara Chardonnay: voluptuous but balanced. Like you in your jeans. Chardonnay that is the liquid version of worn-in jeans. Comfy, familiar, just right. Almost full-bodied, this tongue-loving, caressing white wine will be perfect tonight when you kick back with some buttered popcorn and an old movie.

Chardonnay food pairings: pan fired scallops, spinach and pepper jack stuffed chicken, beef bourguignon, pork tenderloin, toasted ravioli served with Alfredo sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Wins Gold at Decanter Wine Awards 2014. Much deserved. This is a medium+-bodied Niagara Chardonnay rich and creamy in texture with cleansing acidity. Loads of Niagara tree fruit, floral and honeycomb with gentle influences of oak aging - toast, butter, smoke. A long mouth coating finish. So many pleasing layers and nuances in this Chardonnay. Well done! I love this wine on it's own but with lobster in season this is a perfect mate. Don't hold the butter.
Tasted: June 2015
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A luscious chardonnay with aromas of vanilla, tropical fruit and a hint of smoke with pineapple, honey, lemon and almonds on the palate. Well balanced and crisp.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is a beautiful wine, showing complex aromas, flavours and also refinement and balance. I love when I find an example of a Chardonnay done in oak that shows restraint and uses it to really provide balance and to complement other flavours. This wine does that very well. Aromas include soft buttery notes as well as nice lemon, honey, apple and pineapple notes. The body is full with an almost creamy consistency that might be too much if not for beautiful acidity to balance out the citrus and warm honey and butter flavours. This wine would be a perfect match to any seafood with lemon and butter. Enjoy!
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is a wonderful oaked Chardonnay from Canada's Niagara 20 mile Bench VQA. Pale gold and declared at 13.5% ABV. Butterscotch, walnut, candied lemon, savoury ripe herb, elegant minerality, with a smooth, creamy and lusciously viscous medium-full body. This wine is well balanced, well integrated and ready to enjoy. Persistence of almond, herb and butterscotch with a long finish. Pairs well with seafood paella, seafood risotto, lemon garlic grilled Mahi-mahi, dry-rub BBQ chicken.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Ontario's Niagara Peninsula produces this excellent Chardonnay with a nose of tropical fruit, vanilla and subtle oak. The palate delivers a mouthful of pleasure with light tropical passionfruit, banana, pineapple, vanilla and toasted oak. Bright acidity and a long tropical fruit finish complete the picture.
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Brioche, almonds, baked bread and lees on the nose and palate. Medium bodied. Very nice crisp Chardonnay. Tasted June 2015. 90 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
