Perfect dessert port offering aromas of smoky toffee and toasted nuts. This fortified Portuguese dessert wine offers a toffee richness on the nose and palate with a great spicy zing on the finish. Rich dessert wine for toasted nuts and hard cheeses. Good balance of acidity and luxurious layers of flavour. Highly recommended.

Food pairings: nuts, aged and smoked cheeses.

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 95/100 with the following review:

Gorgeous bright amber hue with a very fragrant nose of caramel, nuts and vanilla. A very satisfying satiny palate gives buttery toffee, nuts and vanilla, with silky finish.

Lori Kilmartin - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Tawny in colour as well as in the name. This is a seductive port with layers of flavours and aromas. Butterscotch, hazelnut and toffee. Luscious nutty flavours and some sweet spice. Drizzle some on your ice cream or sip after dinner with some blue cheese and nuts. Tasted March 13, 2017.
This is a 10 year old non-vintage Tawny Port from Burmester with smoky toffee and roasted nut flavours on the palate. Very silky and very satisfying. - Community Wine Reviews
