Reviews and Ratings

Courtney Flood rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This newer winery opened in 2012. This wine is a medium-bodied style of Pinot Noir from grapes grown in Prince Edward County aged in French oak. Somewhat sweet notes of raspberry jam, with some spicy clove and white pepper, and a touch of earth. Juicy balanced acidity.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is a newer winery, but this Pinot Noir in particular was made using their older vines. Aged one year in French oak, aromas include ripe raspberry, tart cherry, a bit of clove, and an earthy note. Acidity is bright, and flavours are a balance of fruit and earth. Tannins are medium and a bit grippy with a medium+ finish. This wine would be quite versatile with a range of foods, including pork tenderloin, smoked fish or turkey dinner with all of the trimmings.
(April 2016)
Gwen Barton rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Rich colour. Lovely cigar and tobacco aromas which eventually move aside for plum, raspberry and cassis. Lovely fruity flavour with crisp acidity. Tannins on the young side. Try with smoked salmon and soft cheese on pumpernickel rounds.
