Pinot Noir food pairings: veal chops, turkey, pork tenderloin.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This Marlborough Pinot Noir gives a mouthful of classic PN flavours, fruit forward and well-balanced throughout. Racy acidity makes it very versatile with a variety of dishes, from duck to salmon to lamb. I never tire of NZ Pinot Noir; it's consistently delicious!

L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

From New Zealand Pure Discovery Wine Fair: Medium strawberry red in colour, dry, medium bodied with mouthwatering acidity and balanced tannin. Medium intensity nose featuring herbal notes, perhaps thyme, forest floor, cranberry and strawberry. Definite tart taste, featuring red fruits, including strawberry, and herbs.
Paula Bernardino rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

I attended the Pure Discovery 2019 event featuring wines from New Zealand. At the Toronto event May 8, 2019 I focused on New Zealand’s reds, which included mainly Pinot Noir, Merlot and Syrah.

I tried the Pinot Noir from Babich Wines. Aromas and flavours of red berries. Cool label.
