Primus The Blend 2015, Colchagua Valley D.O., Chile: The Blend 2015 is a dry, full-bodied Chilean red blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère and Merlot with a little Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot in the mix. All wine grapes are sourced from the Colchagua Valley wine region. Layers of dark berry fruit, red fruit and toasty oak on the palate. Redstone Winery Chardonnay 2013, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: A Meursault nose on this lovely Niagara Chardonnay produced by Tawse under the Red Stone label. Glorious aromas of ripe peach and golden apple with toasted almond. This wine was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Pair with roast chicken or turkey. Chardonnay food pairings: roast chicken, seafood in creamy white wine sauce, smoked whitefish.
