Reviews and Ratings

Paula Bernardino rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

On October 7 I attended a Master Class with Nigel Westblade, head winemaker for Peter Lehmann Wines in the Barossa Valley in Australia. I really enjoyed their 2017 Barossan Shiraz with aromas of licorice and flavours of dark cherry and hints of spices. Dark purple colour. Cool label. 14.5% alcohol. Available at the SAQ (code SAQ#: 13525535) at $19.95.
The Barossan 2017 is a full-bodied, classic Shiraz from the Barossa Valley. Juicy with fleshy black plum, toasty oak, mocha and smoky flavours on the palate. Now produced by the Peter Lehmann wine team. Peter Lehmann was the recipient of an International Wine Challenge Lifetime Achievement Award in 2009. - Community Wine Reviews
