Finca La Emperatriz Reserva 2014, Rioja D.O.C.A., Spain: Still love this style of old vines Rioja! In fact, the vineyards were originally owned by the wife of Napoleon III and she was the last Empress of France. Balanced, fresh with good acidity for food. Pair with a veal Porterhouse steak. Food pairings: beef, lamb stew, old cheddar.
