Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

From Lalande de Pomerol, north of the well renown region of Pomerol, Chateau Vieille Dynastie 2016 shows a sophisticated bouquet of black plum, blackberry, tobacco leaf, molasses, leather, vanilla, spice and oak. Elegant with polished tannins, Chateau Vieille Dynastie exposes great structure and a refined finish. Made from 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Cabernet Franc, this charming wine exhibits flavors of dark skin plum, blackberry, fig, black pepper, leather, dark chocolate, baking spice and oak. Enjoy!
Château Vieille Dynastie 2016 is a big, black, robust Bordeaux red, Merlot dominant with 20% each Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Look for dark cherry, ripe black fruits and a savoury finish with toasty oak spice on the palate. This vintage was awarded Silver at the 2018 Concours Général Paris, 2018. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
