Hidden Bench Estate Chardonnay 2018, Beamsville Bench, Niagara Escarpment, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: From the Beamsville Bench, Niagara Escarpment wine region, the grapes for Hidden Bench 2018 Chardonnay wine grapes were organically-grown on the estate and sourced from the Locust Lane, Felseck and Rosomel Vineyards. Hidden Bench is known for its artisanal, terroir-driven wines. There is a lovely mouthfeel and balance on this full-bodied Chard with ripe apple, spiced pear, lemon curd, vanilla and nutty flavours on the palate. The wine is aged in a combination of concrete egg and French oak barrels and is bottled unfiltered.
