Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Aromas of dark cherry and blackberry, along with some minerality, savoury hints and a bit of a briny note. Full bodied with some smooth but youthful tannins, medium++ acidity, and ripe berry notes. Slightly briny and savoury on the finish. Enjoy with dried salami and salty cheese.
Kir Yianni 2017 Xinomavro is a new wine from Naoussa. A Cuvée Villages aged for 12 months in previous-use French and American oak barrels. Showing good concentrations of red cherry, berry fruit and savoury herb flavours on the palate. Tannins are structured and manageable. Drink or hold. - Community Wine Reviews
