Robust, smoky and spicy, this Petit Sirah-driven red blend with some Syrah and Grenache is fleshy and full-bodied with concentrated f blackberry, blueberry, licorice and a smattering of cracked black pepper flavours on the palate. Love, love the smoky finish. Tannins are fine. Pair with full-bodied meaty game dishes. Enjoy now and for the next 10 years.

Petite Sirah food pairings: venison, barbecued steak, pork tenderloin.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
