Redstone Chardonnay 2016, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: Redstone is owned by Niagara's Tawse Winery. This Niagara Chardonnay is rich with ripe apple, pear, nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger spice flavours on the palate. The wine is matured one year in French oak barrels. Redstone Winery was named for the large stones and red clay soils of the vineyard. Chardonnay food pairings: butternut ravioli served with Alfredo sauce, roast duck, crab cakes.
