Reviews and Ratings

From the Gigondas wine region, E. Guigal 2016 is a medium-plus-bodied, vibrant 50% Syrah, 40% Grenache and 10% Mourvèdre red wine blend produced from vines averaging 35 years of age. Grapes are fermented in temperature controlled vats with a long soak on the skins and aged for over a year in oak foudres. As with all Guigal wines, expect fresh and vibrant fruit flavours, this wine exhibiting ripe red berry, cherry, sous bois, garrigue herb, savoury and pepper spice flavours on the palate. Excellent value on this lush Rhône red. Pour with a slow-braised smoked beef brisket. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
