Henry of Pelham Speck Family Reserve Baco Noir 2017, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: Henry of Pelham produces some of the best wines from the Baco Noir wine grape. BenMarco Malbec 2017, Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina: Unfined and unfiltered, Benmarco Malbec is a rich and juicy medium-plus-bodied Malbec and perennial favourite produced by Susana Balbo. A classic made by a masterful winemaker. Juicy with ripe blackberry, blueberry, dark chocolate and savoury herb flavours on the palate. Tannins are structured, a tad grippy. This wine was aged in older oak barrels, more to mellow and marry, but there is still a touch of oak spice evident in this juicy Malbec from Argentina. Lamole di Lamole Blue Label Chianti Classico 2016, Tuscany D.O.C.G., Italy: A savoury and full-bodied Chianti Classico from the Tuscany wine region and produced from mostly Sangiovese wine grapes with some Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The wine spent six months in 5,000 litre casks before being transferred to French oak barriques for six more months.
