Lovely! Aromas of ripe berry and dried red fruit, along with some smoky spice. Medium bodied and smooth, with some light tannins, and some balancing acidity. Lots of rich fruit flavours on the palate and a lightly smoky finish. Enjoy with dried salumi.

A full-bodied Valpolicella, with cherry and red berry aromas through to the palate. Soft and smooth, well-balanced. Serve with Italian appetizers.
Produced by Luciano Arduini, a full-bodied and intense Valpolicella Ripasso blend of 60% Corvina, 20% Corvinone and 20% Rondinella wine grapes. Grapes are hand-harvested and sorted, destalked and gently pressed. Maceration last 15 days with manual punch downs and pump overs. “Ripasso” technique is employed with Amarone grape skin contact for 10 days. Look for juicy, concentrated red cherry, berry, dried herb flavours on the palate. Tannins are dusty. Pair with grilled red meats and mature cheeses. - Community Wine Reviews
