Natalie's Score: 91/100

Unfined and unfiltered, Benmarco Malbec is a rich and juicy medium-plus-bodied Malbec and perennial favourite produced by Susana Balbo. A classic made by a masterful winemaker. Juicy with ripe blackberry, blueberry, dark chocolate and savoury herb flavours on the palate. Tannins are structured, a tad grippy. This wine was aged in older oak barrels, more to mellow and marry, but there is still a touch of oak spice evident in this juicy Malbec from Argentina.

Malbec food pairings: beef,  turkey, spicy dishes, tomato sauces, hamburgers.

Reviews and Ratings

From the Mendoza wine region, a perennial favourite, Benmarco Malbec is lush and savoury with juicy red plum, berry, blackberry, dark chocolate and dried fine herb, sweet spice and toasty, smoky oak spice flavours on the palate. Tannins are velvety. So Good! Enjoy now and for the next three years. - Community Wine Reviews
