Produced from a blend of three grapes (thus Tre on the label): Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon from the winery's three Tuscan estates. Fragrant with a ripe red cherry, earthy and smoky dried herbs on the nose. Dry, with juicy ripe red berry, blackberry, underbrush, coffee, sweet dried tobacco leaf and cedar spice a flavours on this full-bodied red. Enjoy with saucy, meaty dishes.

Food pairings: meaty ravioli with rich tomato sauce, meat lover's pizza, vegetarian lasagna.

Reviews and Ratings

From the Tuscany wine region, Brancaia Tre is a spicy medium-bodied red blend of 80% Sangiovese 10% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Earthy and juicy with black cherry, tobacco and meaty flavours on the palate. Tannins are firm. Pair with grilled steak or meaty, rich tomato sauce dishes. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
