Nick Onischuk - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The Southbrook Vineyards Connect 2013 is a beautiful organic wine. Aromas and flavours of red berry fruit, green pepper and spice. Has a certain “freshness” to this bottle. Very easy to drink. Tasted on February 1, 2014 (89/100)
Sean O'Regan - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Organically grown , this red blend has a nose of red currant, berry, roasted red/green bell pepper and gentle spice. Medium-light bodied at 11.8% the palate is round with soft acidity and cherry/berry fruit flavour. Serve slightly chilled with grilled burgers or sausages.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Light to medium bodied, aromas are subtle, berries,a bit of green pepper, and a slight vanilla undertone. Berry flavours are prominent on the palate. Nice, easy drinking, not tart. Balanced acidity and flavour. Try with pork tenderloin.
Olivier de Maisonneuve rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

A earthy nose,(heralding some cabernet franc), and some faded roses with ripe dark fruits
.It 's a bit like realizing you are lost in the woods, and daylight is starting to fade! it has a certain danger and mystery feeling. The mouthfeel is surprisingly bracing at first, then a certain fruity explosion occurs.Fun,but lighter than the nose suggests. Tart but tasty.
Grapes were harvested across a variety of dates from September to October. Fermented with cultured yeasts in a combination of stainless steel and oak vats over an average maceration time of 3 weeks, prior to gentle pressing, racking and aging in a combination of stainless steel, oak vat and barrel for 6 months before careful blending, filtering and bottling.

Nose is bright, fruity, and spicy with notes of ripe strawberry, black pepper and a kiss of vanilla. Palate is friendly and approachable with balanced fruit and delicate tannins. Finish is fruity and cleansing making it an ideal wine for enjoyment with food or on its own.
