Dry, crisp and refreshing yet with the softening aromas of fresh field strawberries. Terrific value: unbeatable for rose sparkling wine! Yes please, again. Pair with seared tuna or planked salmon.

Brut Rosé Crémant de Bourgogne food pairings: lightly spiced curry dishes, lamb stew, white turkey meat, pulled pork sammies.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

What a gorgeous offering year in year out. This year's iteration is loaded with wild strawberry, rhubarb, pressed red flowers, red currant, and a hint of red apple skin. Fine mousse, drinking beautifully now. 91 Points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Strawberry, floral, lime and slight biscuit notes characterize this great value Brut Rosé. Consistent smallish bubbles and nice acidity throughout. Great for a celebration or to greet your guests before dinner. Tasted April 2019.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Extra points for value here. Aromas of strawberries, red apple, and a hint of tangerine. Dry, with a creamy mousse that extends out the finish. Enjoy with Sunday brunch smoked salmon, fish cakes or oysters.
Trent Mayers rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Any sparkling wine made outside the Champagne region in France is called Crémant and many are superb values like this Rose. It's a blend of Gamay, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay sourced from all over Burgundy to produce this delightfully dry sparkler. The flavours of ripe red berries predominate with a touch of rich yellow apple, lemon, and toastiness. Enjoy this solo or with charcuterie and smoked salmon appetizers. Drink now to 2022.
Valérie Dufour - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Beautiful salmon robe. Nice nose of green apple and croissant. Lots of little bubbles in the mouth. Nice acidity and length. Nice on it's own but delicious with oysters and enough matter for a meal. A great alternative to champagne at a portion of the price. A lovely wine.
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted Nov. 13th 2017 at wine club. Beautiful salmon colour, with nice bubbles. Aromas and flavours of cherry, raspberry, strawberry, and a touch of spice. Taste dry, fruity, mouthwatering, tickles the tongue with flavour. Finishes medium. I like this wine. It was refreshing and gave my taste buds a lift. Great value. Good on its own or with pre dinner appetizers. Highly recommend for a. Special occasion. All wine club members enjoyed this selection of French Burgundian sparkling.
I gave 1 out of 5. But some members preferred the champagne selection as first.
This French sparkling wine is made using the Méthode Traditionnelle or traditional method as is used in Champagne with the second fermentation in the bottle. This is a blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Gamay grapes. - Community Wine Reviews
