This award-winning wine is produced by the Arpin family who manages over 30 hectares of vines in the Libournais. This wine is consistently popular with juries. The 2006 vintage is no exception and earned itself two stars. It shows a beautiful Bordeaux-like red colour with glints of black. Its bouquet offers a perfect marriage of ripe black fruits (reminiscent of plums) and licorice-laced wood notes. This powerful wine displays well-structured, muscular tannin that will ensure good evolution for at least another five years. Score: 2 (out of 3) Source: Guide Hachette
