Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
Glenda rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

When I first learned that winemakers sometimes added a small amount of Viognier to Shiraz, I set out to experience this and Brampton Shiraz was one of my experiments.
Mulberry, ripe plum and allspice are aromas on the nose.
The wine is dry, mouth filling and full-bodied. There is a lovely balance of fruit and acid, discernible tannins and a long finish of licorice, dark chocolate and black cherries.
A delectable wine.
The 2007 is approachable, with complex savoury mix offering warming, dark berry & spice knitted into rich, pliant body – lip-smacking! Ageworthy too. Matured one year in seasoned French and American oak. Score: 4 (out of 5) Source: Winnie Bowman, Platter's South African Wine Guide
