Strong crimson-purple; a complex and powerful mainframe for this deeply flavoured shiraz, with its blackberry, plum cake, spice and licorice palate. Still very youthful and needs a minimum of five years to settle down, but will do so as the toasty oak integrates. Drink by 2024. Score: 93 Source: James Halliday, winecompanion.com.au
