Tasting note:

A fascinating red that features lovely, bright aromas of cherries, raspberries and subtle oak. Full-bodied and supple yet it tastes mature already. Love that old leather and cigar box nuance. Phenomenal value!

Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
Guy Delorme rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This is a fantastic Super Tuscan at an affordable price. The Sangiovese brings in the cherries, the Cabernet and Merlot bring the blackcurrant, ripe raspberries and boysenberries, a touch of graphite is also subbtle and brings in the terroir and as a bonus in retro-olfaction, a touch of balsamic.
What a great wine for that price, a chance for everybody to taste what a Super Tuscan can taste like.
By far one of my favourite wine in that price range.
2007 is as great.
As Nathalie mentionned a phenomenal value!
Bright plum, dried cherry and flowers on the nose. Full-bodied, with fine tannins and refined berry and cherry flavours. Drink now. Source: James Suckling, jamessuckling.com
