White peach, light petrol and white floral notes on this very pretty white. Great mouth-watering acidity for seafood and shellfish. Medium-bodied and delightful. Also works as an aperitif.

Dan Trcka Wine Blogger rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The 2011 Fielding Estate Bottled Riesling is a medium bodied, fruity wine with appealing aromas of green apple and washed stone minerality. Thought it is high in residual sugar, due to its crisp acidity it doesn’t taste sweet; the finish is medium. My impression: NICE, 89 pts. Tasted Jan/13.

Brimming with alluring aromas, balance and lip-smacking flavour, this was tough to spit. Aromas of nectarine, apple and pear interweave with mineral notes on the nose then rocket across the palate with a gusher of spice-infused Granny Smith apple, pear and bracing lemon-lime. It’s mid weight and nicely textured finishing in a blaze of mouth-watering, just-off-dry, sweet and tang. Great value. Score: 4½ (out of 5) Source: Vic Harradine, winecurrent.com, Aug. 1, 2012
