The bouquet is fairly intense, with alcohol and sour cherry fruit supported by deft berry fruit acidity and some wet bark bitterness. It’s developing, but displays pleasant depth. On the palate it’s deft, with fairly rich cherry fruit supported by clean sour berry fruit acidity, and by smooth sweet tannins that have a slight burr, and flow into a clean sour berry fruit finish … Worth seeking out if you prefer the more traditional style, and even if you prefer softer lusher wines. This organic wine has only free sulphur: 7 mg/L. Score: 88-90 KP
