Tasting note:

One of my favourite tawny port producers! This lovely toffee-rich, toasted almond wonder is a superb after-dinner drink or pair it with crème brûlée or biscotti.

Unlike Vintage Ports, which only spend 2 years in oak before bottling, Colheita Tawnies spend a minimum of 7 years – this one spent a whopping 13! It’s ready to drink now and showing in top form. Beautifully made. Filled with prune, raisin, chocolate, dates, cedar and spice on the nose and the mouth. Sweet, rich, ripe and ready to drink. Especially good with blue-veined cheeses.
