A traditional Rioja. On the nose, leather, dried berries. On the palate, medium body, smooth, 'red' flavors. Beautiful balanced oak. A bit minty on the finish. Ready to drink now and over the next 2-5 years.
I would serve it as a first wine of the evening or as a food-friendly-goes-with-almost-anything.

Loved it
All the finer classical traits of a refined Rioja red show up here. Minty sandalwood, coconut and black cherry aromas lead into rich coconut, cherry stone and vanilla bean flavours with an undercurrent of mocha. Very silky texture as well. Score: 90+ GS
